By continuing this process, I hereby make application for associate membership in the Coastal Bend Guides Association, a non-profit organization; composed of professional United States Coast Guard licensed guides as well as businesses which have a direct interest in the strength, vitality, and well being of our natural heritage. Associate members are non-voting individuals, businesses or organizations who are interested in promoting the purpose and goals of the Coastal Bend Guides Association.

The Coastal Bend Guides Association Associate Membership is designed to keep our area sponsors within arms reach. These vendors help us maintain our livelihood on a daily basis. Industry-related occupations, businesses, and organizations join the Coastal Bend Guides Association to gain greater business exposure, access to the people who need their services, and to work in partnership when co-sponsoring community events.

1. Corporate Sponsor: A business may become a Corporate Sponsor of the CBGA by submitting a donation of a minimum of $300.00 per year in merchandise, services or monetary contribution. In addition to the above, provide a 10% discount for merchandise or services to all members in good standing with the CBGA. Official Sponsor: A business may become an Official Sponsor of the CBGA by submitting a pledge donation of a minimum of $500.00 in merchandise, services or monetary contribution annually. In addition to the above, provide a 10% discount for merchandise or services to all members in good standing of the CBGA.

2. A CBGA member may nominate a Sponsor candidate in writing to the Executive Committee for consideration. The Executive Committee shall determine whether the Sponsor candidate reflects the Standards and Ethics valued by the Association. The Executive Committee shall then upon majority approval submit the Sponsor candidate to the President for scheduling a vote by the CBGA general membership at the following monthly meeting.

3. Associate members in good standing will have first right of refusal for becoming a Corporate or Official Sponsor. The CBGA will not seek or implement a competing business as an "Official Sponsor". All advertisements will list sponsors in this order: Official – then – Corporate – then- Associate indicating different levels of commitment.

4. Sponsor benefits will include advertisement on the CBGA website with a link; logo advertisement on banners, signs and t-shirts used in CBGA events; a decal for display – notating "Corporate Sponsor of the Coastal Bend Guides Association" for the pledged year; a plaque for display – Notating "Official Sponsor of the Coastal Bend Guides Association" for the pledged year; and the patronage of the business by CBGA members.
